Adjacent constructions, domes come to complete the outdoor signaling range, their surface constituting a support for advertising communication.
Built for protecting against bad weather and sun rays, are placed at entrances into commercial areas, terraces, hotels, banks, etc.
This type of structures, mostly seen, are:
- fixed domes - in console on metallic structure (steel or aluminum), attached to facade, embowed or into the flat framing,
- retractable domes also built on metallic structure (steel or aluminum) are endowed with a mechanism that permits their extending or folding;
- domes on wood structure;
- aluminum profile shading devices, disposed in vertical network.
The Polyplan, PVC material, is the most often used material for this type of works, but impermeable coated materials are also used.
